A newly-discovered fragment of an unpublished hymn, possibly by Mrs. C. F. Alexander.

God is nice and lovely,
He has a smiley face,
Like his Son, our Saviour,
His eyes are full of grace.
When we're past being naughty
And had a loving smack,
God just wants to hug us
And pat us on the back.
